She fills my every waking moment
And my every evening dream
She heals my life's torment
And calms my heart's scream

Though I have not seen her face
Her heart takes me to a place
That exists only in my mind
A place that I have longed to find

She is my Lady, sweet Romance
And in her gentle glance
Those eyes of Caribbean blue
The man that I can be
comes into her gentle view. . .

She is my Lady, sweet Romance
And in her gentle glance
Those eyes of Caribbean blue

a wonderful poem, lovely and romantic.

Though I have not seen her face
Her heart takes me to a place
That exists only in my mind
A place that I have longed to find

I believe that dream will become a reality, it warms the lonely nights yet I know that one day I can share those lonely nights with some one.

excellent poem.

I think read this a little different then Marcy.  I think she is a very lucky!  Your romantic writing never ceases to amaze me.  A challenge very well met!  Now I have to compare to all the others of course before this fair maiden can make her choose.  So many wonferful pieces to choose from you know....LOL

I will have to get back to you!

How beautiful Sven, you words are always a caress to the one you love, so moving, such a tribute...  You love making all the female hearts flutter don't you?

Well Sven, I have seen your pic...you can't be all ears.

Though I have not seen her face
Her heart takes me to a place
That exists only in my mind
A place that I have longed to find

Changed to this below*still your words* it matches the rhyme sequence of the beginning four lines of your poem.

Though I have not seen her face
That exists only in my mind
Her heart takes me to a place
A place that I have longed to find

Ok Ok I will zip the lip again and take 40 lashes with a wet noodle. Sorry!

I still love your poem!

This poem is so gentle and romantic.  You have really shown us the softness of your heart and a look inside a womans heart. James
