      You
a single drop
             of rain
    fall from the sky
down at my feet and
     you speak to me
             in ripples,
         of small waves

but whispers, stir
    the rainwater of you
        and puddles embrace you
with promises

but promises are
     colourless, transparent
can you not see ?
   how they will turn
        to clay

Oh this is like rain the the darkness.......Hardly seen.......but felt so deep there is nothing but the rain..  Well done

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Your poetry has grown from strength to strength to hon.

And I know where you are speaking from my friend.

DarkAngel~
Your writing is awesome.
I especially like this one.
It is softly rippling ...
it speaks quietly of 'the puddle's embrace'.

What a read!  Here I thought puddles were shallow little things....you have shown me otherwise!!  Thank you for sharing this!

Rain is a topic I dearly love to attempt to write of, but puddles, oh you have captured the imagination in this one!!!
