You know, when I wrote these lines, I considered turning it into a much longer piece. But, the more I thought about it, the more I felt that they say everything I wanted to convey in this simple little form. I just didn't think that I could expand on it and keep the same meaning that I originally had. Therefore, I left it as I felt it. And I am glad that I did. Good to hear from you, my friend! What beautiful thoughts, offered by your heart, You speak of heaven's armies, watching out for poor little me's cart. I take these steps reassured by the knowledge of your prayer, Each step is a giant leap forward, Envisaging peace of mind, layer by layer. ...... Terry... I once had a girl who stole my heart, and broke it too... But no matter how hard I try to stop caring, I just can´t. Your poem really describes how I feel towards her. When you met that special someone, its hard to let them go... -nando- |
