My Heart's Prayer

Where ever you go,
Be it near or far;
May you always be protected
By the power of heart,

And within your soul,
May you know it true;
All the armies of heaven
Are watching over you.

Marina~
Thank you so much, dear!  This is just a little something that came into my head the other day.  It was so simple, and yet so full of power, that I had to put it down and share it with all of you!

Love Ya~

very nice Terry, leaves me wanting more. I love the line of the armies of heavens watching over you. It's also as if your heart was sent along to protect.

Marge~
I am so glad that you enjoyed it, dear.  I know of no other person that I would have wanted more to share it with.

Rosebud~
Dear, I kinda get that feeling myself sometimes.  I just try to do what I can.  Thank you for your lovely comments.

Amy~
I am glad that I made you smile, dear!  Thank you for reading this.  And thank you for your comment!

Lone Wolf~
Thank you, my dear!  You know, when I wrote these lines, I considered turning it into a much longer piece.  But, the more I thought about it, the more I felt that they say everything I wanted to convey in this simple little form.  I just didn't think that I could expand on it and keep the same meaning that I originally had.  Therefore, I left it as I felt it.  And I am glad that I did.  Good to hear from you, my friend!

Love to ALL~

What beautiful thoughts,
offered by your heart,
You speak of heaven's armies,
watching out for poor little me's cart.

I take these steps reassured
by the knowledge of your prayer,
Each step is a giant leap forward,
Envisaging peace of mind, layer by layer.

......

Great sentiments from you Terry,
Thanks for the hope you provided...
Regards, sudhir

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt
All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore
Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night,
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor,
Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door...
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange

Terry...

I once had a girl who stole my heart, and broke it too...
But no matter how hard I try to stop caring, I just can´t. Your poem really describes how I feel towards her. When you met that special someone, its hard to let them go...

Terry,
With few words you've managed to say so much.  It takes true talent to do that.  This poem got to me.
