you are back with me but only for a while not like before hmmm, before it could never be. that's what you said as I lowered my head you still think of me I know you want me, I can see it would be wrong you say like it's nothing, this game you continue to play all the while I sit and wait one day, one day you'll be back but wait, you got a new man you're on a different track try and try as hard as I can you'll never be with me your heart's with me and everything else go ahead, deny your feelings, keep cheating yourself |

i liked this a lot. the sporadic rhythm and rhyme scheme reflect the emotions behind the words. very real. i dig it. keep up the good stuff. We all got somethin' we need to atone for. |
