My friend, I fear you'll never see The ripe old age of 93 But that don't matter anyhow To me, you're ripe enough right now! At 93, your home will be A cardboard box in some alley. Trapping rats for barbeque As cats come by to whizz on you. Whenever someone passes by You'll scream "A handsome man was I!" "I used to write sweet poetry!! How dare you stare and laugh at me?!" "I know my hair is full of ants But I once worked in nuclear plants! This wretched creature you now see Had this whole world depend on me!" "I was a SAILOR!", you'll go on... "Who loved to see the crack of dawn! 'Til Dawn was seen by Lorelie Who packed her bags and said goodbye." "Don't look at me with pitied eyes! Some folks considered me quite wise! (Of course, this last part wasn't true But what's a beggar supposed to do?) "I know, to you, I may seem strange But I'm not...hey, you got some change? I need some tuna for my cats And bait to catch those tender rats." "Sure, walk away, you stoopid bums! I'm still a man, whatever comes. Messing with one man put me here... Oh, how I curse you, Balladeer!!!" |

Great comeback 'deer...without someone to egg him on, I fear he'd tease me more..and it is like the old times...but without poor Toe..we need to plan a weekend of reality sometime guys! |
