I will be there for you As you got up this morning, I watched you, and hoped you would talk to me or even think of me, even if it was just a few words or even a fraction of your time, asking my opinion or thanking me, for something good that happened in your life yesterday. But I noticed you were too busy, trying to find the right outfit to wear for tomorrow, or watching that favorite show of yours on that thing they call the T.V., you have a busy life, and I understand so I will wait. When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew that there would be, a few minutes for you to stop and say hello, but you were to busy getting your hair done, getting your stuff ready for today, and also looking over your daily activities for today. I understand, so I will wait some more. At one point during the day you had to wait around 20 minutes, with nothing to do except sit in a chair and ponder. Then I saw you spring to your feet. I felt so happy, I thought you wanted to talk to me and I would get a chance to listen to your beautiful voice, but unfortunately, you ran with that beautiful smile on your face, you picked up the phone, and called a friend, to get the latest gossip in school, and see what you and your buddies were doing tonight instead. I know you have to keep up with your friends and enjoy life, I watched patiently, I waited patiently all day long, Don’t worry I understand, I will just wait some more. You are very busy person, with all your activities, I guess you were too busy to say anything to me. I noticed that before lunch you looked around, maybe you felt embarrassed or shy in front of your friends, to talk to me, that is why you didn't bow your head. You turned your head and glanced two tables over and you noticed some of your classmates talking to me briefly, before they ate their lunches. But you didn't. That's okay. I understand. There is still more time left, and I hope that you will talk to me yet. Half the day is gone, and I have waited patiently, but don’t worry, I guess I will just wait some more. You went home and it seems as if you had, lots of things to do. You had to finish your homework, you had to clean your room, you had check your e-mail. After about an hour you were done. And then you felt a little tired, so you sat in your favorite spot, you turned on the TV and put on your favorite show. I saw you laugh and have fun like you always do, you spend a lot of time each day in front that box, most of the time just sitting there and, thinking about anything or sometimes nothing. Just relaxing and enjoying the show. I waited patiently again as you watched the TV, but again you didn't talk to me, or even say hello. You didn’t even think about me, but that’s alright. You just needed a little time for fun from your hard day, and I understand, don’t worry, there is still some time left, I guess I will just wait some more. It’s dinner time, you run to the table, and see what’s for dinner, yummy, its all your favorite foods, you have another chance again, you can bow your head again, and thank me, but you don’t You go ahead and eat the delicious, scrumptious meal that sits in front of you. It alright, I understand, you are very hungry and don’t worry, you have worked hard today so enjoy your dinner, there is still a little time left, I guess I will just wait some more. It’s late. And it’s time for you to sleep. You are very tired, your eyes are very drowsy, and you can’t wait to get to that soft bed of yours, You say goodnight to your family, You climb into your bed, and can’t believe you made it through the day. You eyes start to close, and in no time you are out, you are fast asleep, you had another chance to talk to me, or thank me for anything good that happened to you recently or even just think of me, but instead you went to sleep, but don’t worry I understand, you worked so hard today, you must have felt very tired. Maybe tomorrow, you will talk to me. Good night and sweet dreams. Do you not believe in me, do you not like me, or have I done something wrong, no it’s probably not any of those things. You probably are just to busy, yeah that right, just busy, you are a very busy person, and I understand that. That's okay because you may not realize that I am always there for you. I believe in you, I am never mad at you. I've got patience, more than you will ever know. I love you so much just like I love all my children, I wait everyday for a nod, prayer or thought or even a thankful part of your heart all day long. I am always there for you, when you want something I try my best to give it to you, when you want to talk, I am always there to listen, when you are feeling down I am here to cheer you up, I am here for you watching over you as I do with all my children. Well, you are getting up once again. And once again I will wait, once again I will be patient like I always am, I send nothing but love for you. Hoping that today you will be that day, today you will talk to me, today you will think of me, or even say hello, I am hoping today you will give me some of your precious time. Well, I am here and waiting like I always do for you, I am ready when you are. Have a wonderful day and remember I am here and waiting! Love ( you friend for ever), GOD By Sumeet Harish |

The catchy title caught my eye  ....and I'm glad it did. There is a simple, heartfelt feeling of sincerity throughout this poem which makes it very endearing. Nice to have you here....... |
