Animosity thickens the air we breath choking the essence of our souls. words spat, tempers flare, insurrection reigns. Who are these creatures in our presence? Faces familar, but demeanor not. words spat, tempers flare, insurrection reigns. What will become of this chaos, if discord is left untamed. words spat, tempers flare, insurrection reigns. Will anything be left remaining, any sort of semblance familiar? When words are spat, tempers flare, and insurrection reigns. 6/5/00 ~Lori Sorry have had a bad morning with my teens |

Ouch...hope the rest of your day goes better, Lori...but anyway, a good way of describing the roller coaster of life when no one's getting along with each other. Elizabeth And this I say to you: why? Why? Just tell me why, so I can understand. Why? |

Lori I hope you were not too hard on them. Teenagers can be a handful, I should know it was not so long a go that I was one as well. I loved your poem, wonnderful but I suggest taking a deep breath and been serene. When angry problems only get worse. What will become of this chaos, if discord is left untamed. words spat, tempers flare, insurrection reigns. ------------------------ "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else"-Richey Edwards "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "Libraries gave us power Then work came and made us free What price now for a shallow piece of dignity" Nicky Wire, A design for Life. manic street preachers "Rock 'n' roll is our epiphany Culture, alienation, boredom and despair" "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." I have 2 of these at home. I just don't know where they get their personalities from...I mean they speak their mind, they argue with rules and regulations, they think night is a time for playing and then they can't get up in the morning...oops! This sounds alot like me! Just kidding...they do get better. I have some poems like this one, too. I'll post them sometime, maybe. |

Sorry for my gloomy self today.. Thank God, that a new day is just around the corner. I appreciate all your comments. If there is anything that I have learned from raising teens it's that it hurts when they bite! ~Lori |
