Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2000-06-04 06:30 PM

Darkness looms,
Across this land of my heart,
Roses have stopped blooming,
Silence tearing it apart,
No words, no words,
Yet I give plenty,
Do I have to squeeze it out of you?
Is this my place?
To ask of thy love?
No, I think not!
For love comes freely,
Without begging or asking,
Time passing,
Through this wonderland of unfulfilled dreams,
Unto this hour,
Sadness fills my heart,
The clock stops ticking,
As I sit crying,
Tears of more of you,
More words, more time,
Unto this hour,
I shall find,
You slipping away into the darkness of never,
I grasp for your hand,
But you letting go,
I feel the darkness across the land of my soul,
Unto this hour,
A moment to hold,
Our story forever told,
Ending, dying, I am trying,
crying,
But never shall I behold,
The complete love of your heart,
So I stop the clock,
And wilt like a flower,
A flower with no rain,
Feeling pain,
Letting you go,
Unto this hour.

Full of emotion, moving. It is very hard when you realize you love someone more than thay love you. Letting go is painful but ultimately you will be hurt more by staying.

Whilst most would say a star doth flee,
'Fore sun's first rays, at start of day,
Fair maiden heed these words for thee,
Doth star remain, to ever stay.

Whilst may not see, thy star is there,
In sky above, to heart illume,
So seek thy star, O' maiden fair,
And once again, thy bud shall bloom.

"For love comes freely
without begging or asking."
And I often think if anyone loved me I would be the first to know..I sure wouldn't have to ask.  I have come right out and told women I loved them...
Here's something to think about.  How do you prove to someone that you love them.  My answer..and only my opinion...you accept them as they are..and that means they may or maynot love you.  Believe me this is hard to do.  You let the love in both of your hearts grow at its own pace.  Until then...well God did create friendships...and thats another story....James

RH~

oh this was so incredibly sad! i could
feel the loss through every word you
wrote here! i am sorry that you are
experiencing this kind of pain. i would
wish it upon no one as i understand all
too well how it feels. perhaps in time
you and this person can work things out.
for now you just feel whatever it is
you are feeling and give yourself all
the time you need. i will be thinking of
you and hope things get well for you soon.
but i know that some things take a lot of
time.

Sea yes I think letting go is the answer..thank you!
Marie Yes it is very hurtful when we put all of our time, love etc. into someone and not receive it back.
Dee Believe it or not sad is my mood for the moment, usually I am upbeat.
Inclan Thanks for that witty reply..yes in time I will forget and move on.
Mike Your words are lovely and have made the sunshine in my day!
James I believe love is a give and take, a relay like electricity, a continious movement flowing back and forth, when the current has stopped flowing, there is no chemistry..no electricity..
Amy Thank you, your a sweetheart, Thanks for understanding me. I have told this person of my feelings, written poems, and they seem to not respond or give anything back in return, so I feel I am wasting my time,When someone else could give me the love and attention I need and deserve.

Hi RH
That was a nice one. Love is a feeling of sharing and you can only keep giving it even though it might bring pain and I've felt that but I find it a pleasure to read. Don't worry if he doesn't respond or may be he's like me who reads all poems in this forum but respond vey li'l

Sincerely

RH,

Wow.....I feel your emotions, my friend.  This was wonderful.  I hope that things are okay for you and that you are okay.  Please remember, I am only an e-mail away.  You seem to have made a wise decision.  Do not fear, the sun will restore the beauty of your bright shining flower, my friend.  Great writing!!

ARH, this was beautifully written, though so sad. You have such a romantic and loving heart, this pain will pass... out there is true love waiting, just get by the pain.

I can't for the life of me make myself believe that any man could make you feel this way. With your loving heart and that spectacular beauty he would have to be crazy!! Beautiful writing, romantic one...

Brought to life and into mine with your words of sorrow.  Your poem is heartfelt....and I can only leave you with..  "Just because someone does not love you the way you need or want....Does not mean they do not love with you with all they have."  Best wishes ,

Thanks Amazon, Lone, Parker,Balladeer,First Knight,...This poem just skims the surface, there is alot more and it goes into more detail, but I didn't want to share that with the world. The pain is inmeasurable,Lone has become one of my best friends and she knows the whole story...
I have gave 70x7...and more! But I feel just like sexual or physical abuse, mental abuse has to stop somewhere and a line be drawn, to not take it anymore, to be used as a rug for someone to wipe their feet on over and over, my heart just can't take it, because it is hardening my heart, causeing me to have no feelings, and resentment.
