A Love Marked with Destiny < !signature-->Part One ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I looked at you and you looked at me My pulse quickened...as I gazed into your eyes Your lips found mine in that split moment of perfection Never have I felt so complete, not a second of hesitation Your lips, they taste like wine...so devinely sweet And then our bodies moved, and it consumed me....an intense burning heat Making love to you, completely stopped the world and my heart Wanting the moment to last forever...never to part Every moment I fell harder and harder for you Gazing into eyes so trusting and so blue You said be gentle with my heart...take it nice and slow I said don't worry baby I got nowhere to go The rhythm of our bodies gently became one As I experienced ecstacy, with the moon, stars, and sun When you whispered to me in the night, and gently said my name It was right then and there....I knew I'd never be the same ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part Two I can't believe it's true You feel the same way as I do I look into your eyes and now I see the light You showed me your true colors on that fateful night My heart and yours beat together in a rhythm of love When I am with you, I thank God above Your kiss takes my breath away, draws me in even more So glad I didn't give up and shut this very door I never knew a love like this Such sweet eternal bliss Not thinking of anything but this moment and you Your eyes are shining a rose's early morning dew I had no idea how you felt…it is so amazing You are so beautiful, truly captivating Be gentle with my heart…handle with care My love, I dream of a life that we could share ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part Three Gazing into your eyes...what do I see? I see someone who is in love with me Our love has marked all over it, destiny and fate You are my one true love, my forever soul mate But perhaps our love isn't to be Is it my imagination or is it reality? I know how you feel, and I feel the same way Wanting to be with you ...today and always But there are walls that demand you and I not to be together Even if we did pledge always and forever A love like this is a forever one-time chance I knew you were special...from the very first glance Are we being fools to throw it all away? Is there a way to make our love stay? So many questions, so little time Wishing forever that you could be mine You say that you love me, and I know that it's true Every time we're together, in everything we do But for reasons I can't control… we aren't meant to be? Doesn't it matter that I love you completely? How could something so right, be deemed as being wrong I can't deny my feelings, together you and I belong How do I pretend to others that I'm not in love with you? When all I know is to thy own self be true Is there a chance we can continue to be together? Or is it time to end things here The choice is up to you…I will do whatever But the thought of giving you up…leaves nothing in my heart but cold fear So baby, now what do we do? Do we pretend you don't love me and I don't love you? So much confusion, yet it could be so simple and right If forever in my arms I could hold you tight All I know is our love is marked with destiny Forever lost in your eyes I could be…for all eternity Surely you must feel it too, this emotion deep inside To me you can't lie…there's nowhere to hide I feel the time is slipping fast away But the choice is yours…I won't beg you to stay The stars are shining high above in the diamond night sky And all I am left to do is sit and ponder why I feel so close to you…yet so far away Forever in my heart, I will keep that special day in May If you want my love, you know where to find me Deep in your heart that's where…just look and you'll see. "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends." This is beautifully written, Amy, and so filled with longing and love. I don't know what the 'walls' are, but I hope you can try to see things objectively (which isn't easy when you are in love) and make the best decision for your future. Denise |

WHOA!!! wow... amy this is EXCELLENT!! your strongest poem to date I dare say... your most honest for sure... your reaching way deep for these girl... love seeing it... hold on to the love ... and give it all time... we cant rush fate... or rewrite it... just gotta let it all play out. love ya girl, jm |

Hi Amy This is a fantastic poem. My Dear Friends~ You all surely can't know what your responses to this poem has meant. This has been by far the hardest piece of poetry I have ever wrote. It holds such a depth of truth in it that it kinda scared me to write it. I have sent it my love and they liked it very much. however, i am still waiting to see where this new love takes us. it is people such as yourselves that make me believe in fairy tale endings but who also show me anything worth having is very hard work. thanks so much for your kind replies. as always i take them to heart. love, amy "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes.
