Are you tired of the platitudes
that you buy on the Hallmark card rack?
Do you retch at the inane verses
that stare back at you
at each birthday, mother’s day
all occasions...really!
I mean...how can you
expect your sentiments
to be lodged in
the originator of platitudes?
Be original!!
Take no shortcuts.
Design and write the accompanying verse
for all cards that
you pass on to friends...
family members,
loved ones,
graduates....
Don’t be a Hallmark moron.
Take the time to write
what you mean...
what you may never get the
chance to say
AGAIN!

Poets unite!!
Pen your own verses!

It IS fun to share one's own thoughts, isn't it!?  Well done!

I know I hate those verses,

a wonderful poem and a great idea.

Maybe Passions could branch out into the card business. lol.

Jana I've been doing that for quite a while..I enjoy reading some of the cards but they always seem to not quite send the proper message.  So I usually buy the cards that don't have any writing in the middle and do my thing.    James
