a woman of mystery and intrigue sometimes I wish to be not this simple poetress penning my heart for all to see if friends we are you will know it if friends we aren't well you get the picture I quiet not my pain more often than not it strokes the canvas in shades of black and blue my tears write trails down more faces than my own, no no mysteries about me my heart is plain lonely for all to see no sexy little unknowns that peak further investigation no seductions to secret away will you find in me just loyalty waiting for a subject to serve arms waiting for the right one to hold so shall I worry shall I fret which one might he be and if he will love all the ins and the outs that I call me? no woman of mystery and intrigue might I be but about one thing my heart does rest easy on that day when eyes meet eyes no pretense need spring to my defense the windows to my soul tell the very heart of me |

Beautiful and simply put. This way is best I believe. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

ok, I had thought to let this one die softly, as I didn't like it much myself, but needed to get the words out of my head so I could sleep, but just wanted to say thanks to Martie and Temptress glad you enjoyed |

There's much to be said for wearing your heart like an open books sometimes. Yes, sometimes a curse, but oh sometimes a blessing my dear friend. I guess we just need to figure out who to reveal it to and who not to. Know as always you are in my thoughts |
