Reflections in sand |

The smooth sand glints with sunlight as the cold northern sea withdraws once again the smell of new seaweed piled at the far reaches of the ocean's grasp, permeates the morning air I remove my shoes and step onto the beach the cold grainy sand working between my toes as I walk to the edge of the brine still to cold for even a short swim Often I come here to think and relax beyond the shadow of the golem called progress No e-mail, no internet, no phones or T.V. only myself and a crab skittering across the sand A real man kisses his children goodnight |
