Each day at work I take the moment To walk and go right past you I force myself, "Don't you look back..." To not take in your view It is hard to be around Someone that makes your mind rave Salvation in my imagination Those moments I do save I twist them around and I visit them again It takes me from the mundane Today we go and play hooky from work And it begins to rain Our clothes stick to us and it Pours on us like a monsoon You gaze beguilingly upon me Our feelings & emotions in tune Together we fall to the grass And we become one under the oak tree You see the thunder reflect in my eyes And then you finally see me... What a wonderful time for us both Your kisses in the rain Your touch electrifies me like thunder Jolts without any pain Only pleasure until... I realize when I come back to earth That my expression reveals it all My desires cannot be erased from my face As you stare at me in the hall Perhaps you feel them too Perhaps someday I will find That we both look forward to The next rainy day And it won't have to be in my mind |
