 She's everything a mom could want, everything and more. She's sunshine on the darkest day, she's mine to adore. She has gentle ways about her, but "tuff" she can be too! She makes me laugh and smile, she wipes away my blues. She tries to hard to be grown up, and keep up with the others. When she's sleepy, she goes and finds her mother. (me  )She says rock me please, "Butterfly Kisses" too! So in my arms I take her, and rock her to the tune. Before the rocking takes affect, she jumps up from my lap. She rushes to the potty, pulls down her "jammie flap" In my chair I await, her sweet return to me. When through the house a small voice shrieks!!WIPE MY BUTT, PLEASE! !~Lori~ |

Lori Terrific poem - the reality of those last lines failed to dim the wonderful view of a mother and her daughter, snuggling together and sharing moments that last a lifetime, and are then passed on to the next little one. I could feel in every line the love you have for your little urchin. |
