What muse could render me the verse To catch and captivate your grace? When all the muses stand submersed In awe of you, -- thus I must praise Your charm in silence! With affection, My stunned bewildered stare receive. Don’t ask me to describe perfection, My pen’s not worthy to conceive The needed words. I dare not write-- To strive for the absurd intent And miss the moment of delight Of seeing you. Allow me then, To simply watch with admiration, And utter nothing in ovation. |

Pretty high praise here. Good poem. I give it a standing ovation. |

Wow, I enjoyed this. Short, but excellent. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

Thank you everyone, To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure about this one, but after all of the responses I got I guess that it did come out good... Thanks |
