This one is the second poem I ever wrote. I post this one because I had recently reposted the first. In the Light of Love Above Flowers forever fragrant, dance in bloom When Heaven’s gate opens Birds beautiful harmony whistle their tune In the light of love above Hourglass of sand, no longer we will know In picturesque soft meadows of time Endless breezes of summer’s show In the light of love above Forever souls of destiny in sunsets blush Colours radiant rainbow in June Beats for eternity in hearts humble hush In the light of love above Marina Feb 16/2000 |

the second one... wow...you were born to write poetry Marina. beautiful, Forever souls of destiny in sunsets blush Colours radiant rainbow in June Beats for eternity in hearts humble hush In the light of love above really loved the last verse. ------------------------ "Here chewing your tail is joy" Richey Edwards "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "Will you accuse me as I hide Behind these layers of disguise And the mirrors of my own happiness.I've loved the freedom of being inside Need a new start and a different time Something grows in the space between me And it's twisting and changing this fragile body" -Nicky Wire |

This is an incredible poem Marina ... and I would never have known it was anyone's second attempt ... you were truly "born" a poet. The flow and imagery are absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful verse in the "early poems" challenge. Challenge exceeded Marina! Best wishes, /Kit |
