The Soft Touch If I were to yield, and become squashy, would I have a spongy effect, or would I have become diffused with indulgent, spineless, undemanding sensitivity, or am I just a sympathetic, softhearted, sentimental fool, who only wants to flow delicately, subtly, in a muted and understated manner, gently bringing mellifluous and melodious dreams along on a supple and velvety pillow, pliable only to silky faint words from a flexible fellow? 31 May 2000 ©KRJ Sunshine Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Wow! I loved this. It had the kind of feeling to it that I wish I could experience just once. I drifted along on this one just fine. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |
