Twice The Love

My love is blessed two
fold in the company of you,
for you share in my joys
as well as my sorrows.

You take a part in every
thing I do and find delight
at what I see as simple
in nature giving it twice the
value.

I in turn show tender
mercy’s your burdens that
weight you down and
add strength to your souls
fight.

Choosing to become
one was a simple thing, but
benefiting in so many
ways, because communication
was our aim diffusing
much.

Our unique talents
and our trial some burdens
now become shared by
two thus giving our power
as one much greater
strength.

Love now is magnified
two fold and to know this
walking through
life’s events will give me the
chance for personal
growth and you
like wise.

The laughter and love
now shared as we walk as one
has blessed all that we do,
may we never find our selves
apart in our dialogue
for our souls will then
become weak.

Now we can love twice
as much each other
as it was meant to be.

Such lovely thoughts.
They can be applied to friendships
as well as relationships.

Some find it difficult to walk as 'one'.
It is a goal sought by many
and achieved by not nearly enough.

and yes you are so right not enough people know the power of communication in a relationship, it is something hard to acheive but when it comes it has so many wonderful benefits.
