The Tears upon your Cheek ~~~ In the heat of thoughtless anger some heartless words were said one glance revealed the tears upon your cheek Beneath a stubborn pride this foolish heart was fried when you turned and tossed your diamond to the unforgiving deep ~ The rolling waves in cycle were clawing at the sand without a word you turned and walked away This heart was crushed to gravel on the sand beside the sea with the sunlight gently passing from the darkness of the day ~ It could have been a picture for a future memory the setting suns' cascade with gentle breeze I sat there in the sand meer shell of hollow man with tears behind the huddle of my naked knobby knees ~ The seabirds distant call o're the crash of breaking surf my vision swirled as then to my surprise First a shadow ... just a blur ... then your hand upon my chin With your lips you brushed the tears from both my eyes ~~~ |

I definately did not expect that ending my friend. With the diamond thrown to the swirling deep...I thought it was all lost for sure. Well done! |
