As I got out of the car, I could see his eyes stare at me, Walking toward me from a distance, This moment meant to be, Closer he came, My heart beating faster with every step, This chemistry I felt as first time strangers, Was all together perfect, I looked into his eyes of green, So beautiful and sexy, His smile back at me, This moment meant to be, Can I help you ma'am, Was his reply, I was in a trance looking into his eyes, He took my list and checked every item on it, As I made a flirty reply, Hey I don't think that would fit in my car, He laughed and said, I don't think it will either, I will cut it for you, to make you feel better, So he took the board from my hand, My hand touched his, Pure bliss from this moment of a brief touch, How I watched his every move to be near me, This moment was meant to be, I watched as he cut the boards perfectly to impress, Doing all this for my happiness, I could watch every move of his hands, his body, Moving, working so precise,knowing I was wathcing him, He began to grin, that innocent sexy smile, As he came back and handed them to me, I said thank you, he said your more than welcome, This moment was meant to be, I knew it was ending fast, The moment had come to pass, So I asked? You could come and swing? He smiled at me without bother, And said I might take you up on that offer, I got in my car, and drove away, This small moment, had made my day, I smiled all the way home, Thinking of him, our small moment together, The chemisty we both felt, How his eyes, his smile made me melt, I will never forget this time, I had to buy a board for the swing in the tree, I know this moment was meant to be! Nice, takes me back a day or two... Yeah... maybe two or so... Nice feeling my friend... looks like you've captured it pretty well. And welcome to you also. If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name. Very nicely written. I don't believe in love at first sight, but your poem really had me feeling strongly about the possiblity of meeting a special someone that might make my pulse race, and chemistry flow. I hope to see more of your poems in the future. |
