whatever make the sanity
stick nicely to an absent minded apathy
must be worth something beyond me
as if the world wasnt barren enough
peeling back electronic skin
and feelings breathe air again
digitized once you listen
SLAVES always..another file in the system
can not ravage.. so minds well delete
hold on to something..the soft stuttering
of isolation..can only brighten madness
with machine driven manic depressive
reliability..fend for yourself
you still have somewhat of what they dreamed
the vessel called christianity
so secret is the way..
they control
they erase
they ignore..and fade away is destiny
the end..is just another step
in recreating humanity

"you can have my isolation..you can have the hate that it brings
you can have my absence of faith..you can have my everything"

"so impressed with all you do..tried so hard to be like you..flew too high and burnt the wing..lost my faith in everything"

"I am too connected to you to
Slip away, to fade away.
Days away I still feel you
Touching me, changing me,
And considerately killing me."

I wonder how close or dependent our society is becoming to technology. The thoughts and images explored in your poem remind me in around about way of the film "Ghost in the shell." anyway, your poem gives alot to think about, I notice a reference to the machine that is Christianity, a favourite subject of mine as well. Great poem.

I think you are on to something here:

"with machine driven manic depressive
reliability..fend for yourself"
