I am but rain
a sonnet of the sky

you wander earthly
life-dry
        alone
await my fall

I come
  I flight
    slip by

and join the river’s flow

it is not time
you say
for us

and flowly
   I turn away

a-ryhthmed
undanced
uncaught

I cause hearts to grow

become mist
   and wait

for another to call me
but not
to catch my fall
to keep

rain always
  I will stay

Oh this is sadly-beautiful Soul-Sis.

I am but rain
a sonnet of the sky

so soft and gentle yet sad.

I love this, Kamla. You could never be just rain. You are a downpour, a storm, a deluge and, when I don't hear from you, you are mist.

a lovely poem, touched with sadness like rain, for while the rain cleanses it some times arrives in an air of sadness. continue to rain down with your magically words of poetry.

Kammie~
S'cuse me ?
Excuuuuuse me !
I think this is perhaps the
prettiest pouring from your pen.

'and flowly
   I turn away'

How utterly original and misty-eyed.
I just LOVE the whole flow of it.
Excuuuuuuuuse me !
This 'could' cause immediate
poet-envy ... of which there is no cure.
Sooooooo ... feed me more ... quickly ! !

Hey, girl .... Exquisite and uniquely YOU !
Love ya'

Kamla,
this is truly delicate. . . just speaks from the heart and from the soul. . . and reads wonderfully out loud. . .

Simply wonderful. . .

Lovely--- yes the rain "awakens" that ready to bloom--

"Or, like the thief of fire from heaven,
Wilt thou withstand the shock?
And share with him - the unforgiven-
His vulture and his rock?"

You hon, are "but rain" which has fallen into "the" land and with
the richness of "its" soil, you have "bloomed"
