hope At the end of the tunnel, there could be light. First, i must want to open my eyes. I see through you now; now i realize there's more to life than choking down your lies. There's a place out there where i can live my life. You won't be there; that's a good thing, right? You won't control me by causing me strife. I feel better and empty all at the same time. You hate me now, as always. It's plain to see. How'd you ever look me in the eye? Why'd you lie to me? with that perfect smile. I'd have never known... Now I see that I must walk alone. Maybe, it's just that I'm not trying. You only get what you give... I've got to stop the feel of dying, and teach myself to live. We all got somethin' we need to atone for. |
