What I See In You Amy M. Kennedy I see in you what you can not see I see the beauty of you I know when you're sad and when you are happy I see how hard you try, I really do You hide who you are Not wanting anyone to know the real you But I see you, a bright shining star I am your sister, nothing can break that bond, nothing you do I see in you, the future of tomorrow You have dreams and goals just like all the rest I see in you your tears and sorrow Pretending to be tougher, feeling u have to pass some test I see in you a woman trying to do whats right Linda you are beautiful, you just don't know I see in you how hard you fight Everyday you're a part of my life, my love for you does grow You are smart, and funny, this I too see You can do whatever you want, be whatever you want to be Kind and compassionate, you are these things too You have a heart the size of Texas, I see the real you In you I see me, or at least a part I loved you from the moment I met you, right from the start In you I see the beauty of each and everyday I just want you to know I love you today and always ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |

Amy~ What a great sis you are. Keeping those arms wrapped around family is the most rewarding thing you'll ever do. Love to you all. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Amy, this is such a touching poem and loving tribute to your sister. You express your dedication to her so beautifully here, and it brings such sweetness into my heart, for it reminds me very much of my own sister who died recently. She was loved by so many for her wonderful spirit and beauty, yet sometimes she failed to see it within herself. Thank you for sharing this...I love it! ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

A touching and beautiful ode to your sister, it great to have a brother or sister to lean on through the good and bad. A wonderful tribute, great poem. ------------------------ "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? " Douglas Adams. What a lovely tribute, Amy - I feel guilty now, here I just included my Bro in a poem and I referred to him as "nose picker!" Corinne |

sunshine...you are...perfect dedication amy. family bonds are the rings of life. loves ya, jm Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time. Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard. ~Janet Marie~ "What the caterpillar calls the end ... The world calls a butterfly" ~Lao Tze Tao~ ~Butterflies are meant to be free~ |
