In the space between moments

The tulips sway upon cleansing wind
As pale sunrays caress
An image lingers upon periwinkle sky
As dreams lay now confessed.

Yonder the leaves twinkle and spin
Dancing in silver-green splendor
Thoughts drift like dragonflies
Upon some moon touched shore.

Blades of lightly moistened green
Lay crushed beneath bare skin
As here beneath the willow trees
I yearn for you again.

Lavender petals sprinkle the dawn
And kiss my lips of rose
As over your softly sleeping face
The shimmering breeze now blows.

I touch your gently falling locks
Of midnight's darkest hue
And lightly kiss your tender eyes
That now shine violet blue.

Our bodies mingle with morning rays
And once more two hearts combine
Beneath the willow's cool shade
We experience pleasures sublime.

this poem is breath taking and the flow is brilliant.

They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Krista~
Passion is not just a poet's retreat ...
you color it 'reality'.
Beautifully done.

Stunning line ...

Beautiful poem, Krista!  Your poetic prowess is at a level I dream of.  I love the vision of the willow trees and the early morning sunlight upon the two lovers, I see it vividly in my mind.  Exquisite Krista, I loved this one   (Violet blue?  what happend to cobalt?  )
