Title: Cages I never used to ask where to go what to do. It just came natural wake up, go to school tennis do home work then dinner and bed. Then one day you walked in with the key to my cage. You opened me up and showed me I could do anything. Then you left me but I am still free and can see all those in cages now. All my peers but the leaders have thrown their keys out of reach so they can not unlock themselves. I feel I breathe I bleed I hurt. I do all these as others do. But so different am I . I am not a stranger to any. I feel most from being alone. All the different I am is in one word but means many. Freedom to be able to do anything and feel and think what I want. But I still can’t do everything for I can’t fit in with all. But there is a price for everything for those I am different from lock themselves in a cage unable to do everything they wish But I do not stay with them for I march on my own path alone and afraid While hearing words that bring pain to me from those behind because of their envy. But I will show no fear as I walk a head though no one walks with me. P.S: I did not go into great detail so the reader can use imagination. |

Hi Cyndol, I am glad that you found freedom and chose to walk your path. It has always being my way of thinking. I am reminded of an E.E Cumming's quote, he said it better than I ever could, "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." As for your problem, I might be able to help, After "submit reply" you will be brought back to the page with your poem. On the top right hand corner of the screen are links that say, the name of your poem, the name of the forum (in this case forum 7), and then main menu(Passions forum). For more indepth comments into your work you should try Critical Analysis. which can be found on the passions forum page. Has this been of any help at all?
