There hurts a float of cry easing across the way and close surround a gap between the air and this flesh where your touch no longer travels over me and around there are steps languid in sanded shores of memory where shells are echoes and crusts cover empty hollows of my living so slowly incomplete I yearn you over me and around and here I am driftwood seaspray a play of waves alone of a tide without you over me and around (over and around without your whisper screams my mind) |

WOW Kamla this is so very beautiful, every line is filled with longing. It truly is gorgeous. Excellent writing as always Soul-Sis Je t'aime plus qu'hier et moins que demain." I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow (unkown) |

It's amazing How you make your face just like a wall How you take your heart and turn it off How I turn my head and you lose it all ... And it's unnerving How one move just puts me by myself There you go just trusting someone else Now I know I put us both through hell ... I'm not sayin That there was nothing wrong I just didn't think you'd ever get tired of me And I'm not sayin We ever had the right to hold on I just didn't wanna let you get away from me. ~MB20~Leave |

Wow, Kamla, this is the pure essance of missing someone - "a gap between the air and this flesh where your touch no longer travels over me and around" As always, your words flow elegantly with your emotion. Beautifully done. Michael |

Corinne - hugs hon - how are you? And thankyou. Martie - I have missed being here so much (grrr...study...grrrr). Thankyou!! 'deer one - she never stopped...she just didn't come through this part of town for awhile...lol. Thanks M! Michael - thankyou! I know you can identify with this well. Kamla, I absolutely loved this poem! It flowed with the emotions...beautifully, passionately stating them in such elegant words. The longing, the yearning, almost jumps off the page. Excellent work, Kris the poet's pen...gives to airy nothing A local habitation and a name ~ Shakespeare |
