Thanks to everyone for the good words on my poems.
My poems are like a dairy to me. They reflect on my life and where I was at that moment. Recently my gran got ill, old age setting in, and she said that she would sell her soul to be young again. I suddenly had these words pouring out of my pen!
Guess what... I WANNE GET OLD!!
Adri

Snow whitehad a mirror, so did her step-mom,
One that hides the youth that has gone,
A shame it is, as a matter of fact,
that to stay young some would make a develish pact.

I want to look into my mirror,
to see my youth wither,
for then I know that I am earning
the wisdom that comes from life and learning.

And when I see my hair go gray,
when I see the lines on my face are here to stay,
I'll thank my mirrir, with a passion, with gladness,
for it is showing the truth, growth with no sadness.

I'll look again just to make sure it is true,
confirm the fact of a season all new,
I dont want the mirror from a fairytale,
When you disgard age, you blood grows stale.

Your vanitity grow with every day,
and you forget to love nature's way.
I love my mirror telling the thruth,
For with age somes wisdom, a NEW form of youth!!

Adri

What we gain in experience and wisdom we pay for with time. That was certainly a unique vision on things. a great read, some clever images. You have one or two typos other that I really enjoyed your poem.
