Good things come to those who wait Or so the saying goes And as to what the future holds Nobody really knows I used to think I'd drift forever Upon life's empty sea On a vessel with no sails or steam No one to rescue me I'd lost all hope of loving again And waited for death to concede When in a dream I saw her face Revealed so mystically **************** Now as I lie here by her side All I can do is sigh Good things DO come to those who wait PATIENCE PERSONIFIED Thank you Lone Wolf for the title and challenge I lie awake in a world filled with dreams, but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep |
