It’s a hill yet it’s more of an incline Its beauty is solitude its beauty is mine Where the grass brushes its fingers against me There are no boundaries; nothing to fence me A painted sky scape of matte black this goodnight Entranced by the moon begets pen points of light And tears from my soul could be sadness or joy Ancient I feel a rag doll a pull toy A place for nothingness lacking emotion A place to spit in the still water ocean A place to jump from the incline I love To walk a mile and crash down from above It’s a secluded desert isle I smile and I say I’ll find it and go there and be happy one day |

Walt~ You made this place so inviting ... great job with the imagery. We all have that special 'hill' that we can retreat to for our serentiy. You're touching much beauty from within. Greatly enjoyed, my friend. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Walt BRAVO! I love this. I hope you find that place someday, a hint *look within* A place I'd like to be right about now, serene picture you painted. |

I enjoyed this very much, Walt. Up until the end line, I thought you were sharing how you feel about a place you "already" knew, your home, perhaps. Your presentation here is superb, giving us "true" understanding with your very last line. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
