Tell me why,
The stars won't shine today,
Because It's love that had to last,
The time had to say goodbye,
Memories we shared will stay
In my mind,
But your love had to last
without an end
or without beginning,
Tell me why,
we have to say goodbye,
Memories of yesterday will remain,
In my heart,
Tell me why,
love has to last ,
As love was going fine for us,
Think of dreams
we had to live for,
think of the song we used to sing,
Think of our love that to leave,
Say you had to go for the reason
you have in your mind,
By the way,
Remember,
I give you my love to you forever,

It's very sad when a relationship doesn't work out for whatever the reason. You have expressed the hurt well in this, Vandana.

Enjoyed reading this poem. Love seems to always last in our memories long after the souce of that love is gone.

memory tends to remain long after the relationship ends, nice sense of conflict of emotions I really liked this poem.
