The Candle burns..... and we see in the flicker chance. The Candle flares and within the melting wax, our expectation runs in streaks of molten red in passions not yet dead. And the Candle burns.... glow between our smiles a warmth you gave me a heat we found in a darkened hall. The Candle burns... I see the flare in your eyes the care in your touch is too much was always too much and made me cry. The Candle burns.... we are the shadows it throws and only the candle knows when our flame will die. |

Fool~ What lovely thoughts you've expressed. 'The Candle burns.... we are the shadows it throws and only the candle knows when our flame will die' I enjoyed this very much. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

This poem is exquisite... And the Candle burns.... glow between our smiles a warmth you gave me a heat we found in a darkened hall. Excellent imagery, fool. Love it! |
