Our actions are determined by our minds On how our thoughts perceive our lives to be. The body automatically then finds A way to make our thoughts reality. Should we believe that life is filled with pain And sadness is the only way to go, Though we may try from sorrow to refrain Our deeds will find a way to make it so. If we however think, instead of grief, That happiness should be our rightful due And life can be a joy beyond belief Our mind will find the path to make it true. Whatever our mind chooses to conceive Our actions are determined to achieve. [This message has been edited by Balladeer (edited 05-16-2000).] |

our perceptions define reality.great poem, I must agree attitude has a lot to do with it. You can either look on life as Eeroyre the donkey or Winnie the Pooh. great sonnet. [This message has been edited by brian madden (edited 05-16-2000).] |

Excellent writings, Sir. I salute thee for thy art, A poet beyond compare, thou art; While I remain, thine humble reader, Waiting incessantly for what more thee offer yonder! Thanks a lot for posting this one, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Happiness and grief, are products of what we want and wish to make out of our life. Regards, Sudhir Life is like a painting, That in an art gallery is left hanging, Though many come just to look at it, A very few actually come to enjoy it. |

It's my turn tonight to reply to you Your words show wisdom and they are so true My mind spoke tonight "you should write" My action is to "Thank you" so kind Your poem so nice it's done You're still, besides all others are my # 1 Thank you for such nice piece of poetry, I enjoyed my stay, even when it's only short today The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |

'Deer' I'm glad to see you post something! Gives one much to think about, always a lesson in your writing. So very, very true are your words here, but I'd expect nothing less. Superb Sonnet! |

Wisdom in a sonnet wrapper. Sounds like a new candy bar. The bar of wisdom, Shakespearian flavor. A wise persons choice. Great read, great sonnet, I'm jealous, I can't figure these things out. Well see if my mind can achieve it, in this life. Parker |

How very true Sir Balladeer... Well said. I too can get behind the philosophy of the Stuffed One, but I must admit I'm more of the Strippedy Kind that likes to bounce and pounce. Peace to you good Sir. |
