A POEM FOR THE ONE I LOVE

When I first met you my sight was blurred,
You took me by surprise,
But those glasses of water made me feel a lot better,
And I was yours for the night.

I was lost in your gentleness,
Your tenderness and passion,
Each moment forever locked into my memory,
The sensations felt, Everlasting.

Too little time, so much to share,
I had wished that time would stand still,
But it cannot, so I am truly glad,
For the short time that I had with you.

I felt sparks fly as our lips connected,
My body pressed against yours,
The warmth and security I felt,
Shall be with me forever more.

Although we are now separated by oceans,
My heart and soul belongs only to you,
For the simplest song or little object,
Reminds me of the night I was so lucky to share with you.

Should it come that we meet again,
My feelings shall not have changed,
For if ever you want a lover or friend,
In me you will find one and both,
And forever that way it will remain....

....They say that those who leave a place have memories sealed off by departure. I believe this is true, because I can remember every little detail of the time I had with you.

                       With Love Always & Forever

I've had these feelings before with my first love. The one love that you'll always remember and never forget.
