To build something worth having we communicate so that all of us believe that what we say is real using our words we give both depth and emotion 'heartprints' giving fingertips the wamth that we feel Slowly building trust as we rely upon each other learning to believe in a faith that may last a lifetime friendships that cover both the past and our future laughter and tears spoken often without a rhyme We're here - isn't that what life's all about? no good comes from being self contained if you don't have a lasting single friendship because keeping it valued means keeping it maintained I've had cause to re-evaluate I'm glad I did it too because there's rhyme and reason to every friendship rule to care means being honest and every bit as true cause there's none so blind as a friendless ignorant fool Thank heavens when I'm back to 10, huh?.. Rainbow You've left your heartprint in this poem, and I can tell you it is unlike any other. But easily identifiable. You speak such truth of friendship, a universal need. This is a lovely poem. Thanks for posting it Liz |

You know - 3 fingers is all I've ever typed with... What does that make me?...LOL On a more serious note - "evaluating" friends can be a hard task - and almost never garners a desired result... I know - have had to do much of it myself of late... Point well made. Michael |

Liz: Thanks sweetheart,it's so hot here and I shut the windows cause of the hairy 8 legged creatures, they do like to take up my spare accomodation...yuk!!!! and then hate it or resist (even worse) when I throw them out...hmmmm....ever seen an 8 legged monster on a cat flap outing?...for sure it's worth the view.. HUSG Marge: If I typed with TOE, I'd sure be having fun, but which letter would he take?..*g* HUSG Michael: Thanks for the tip-off, 3 fingers may not be fun but is even worse on spelling, LOL.. and is true, what you say, friends are what we think we have for life, cause why else do we make them? apart from cause we like them.. Water your friendships with tears of love to maintain it and keep it growing and once in a while, give it a smile and maybe a really good Toe-ing!  You've written a wonderful poem about friendships..we should all heed it..wise words from a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart. |
