Hatred. It was all that came to me in my hours alone It emraced me when no one else would And it guided me to a place where I could be free Free from my world of broken promises and hurt feelings And hatred blinded me there, in my hour of rage It made itself my sweet revenge My satisfaction and reward But I was again led astray, Tricked by my one true friend And so now I am here, alone My friend no longer visits me I am made a fool And I am alone For hatred indeed brought me to another world, Just as he promised And that world is my death Where I must watch while others, like me, are blinded aswell Hatred made me lash out at you, And ruin both our lives Hatred was a friend of mine But I ask you, am I forgiven? |

I know what it is like to be betrayed and hurt by people you believed to be your friends,it is so easy to hate them but in the end it gets you nowhere, as you seemed to have found out. I hope that your pain has eased. great poem. Well you seemed to have realised the errors of your ways and if no one was seriously hurt because of your mistake then in my eyes yes you are forgiven. |

Hi Bunny --- wise poem - Lessons in life are harsh. Hatred just eats away at your own soul -- and it is tiring, did you know that? It takes lots of energy to keep hatred up - So now that you are free of hatred ----you can concentrate on the good in life ---) and have mass energy flow to do so You take care netswan |
