A tiny dog, It follows me around, So tiny, so delicate, So dead. It was clinging, I turn left, it veered right. So close, so far away, So dead. Aspiration, To a state not yet known. Too far away, too delicate, Too late. The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look of recognition. |

mete out - It meant something along the lines of what you were suggesting a while ago , I'm not too sure what it's about now, every time I read it I come up with another new meaning. REBECCA ALLYN - thank you so much! Is there much of your work up at the moment? I'd like to read it. The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look of recognition. |

Hey Debs, cool poem, you didn't tell me you had a new one on . I liked the poem and it fitted the feeling very well . I enjoy the fact that you also use a great deal of underlying meaning in your poems . L.of.L. Tom . Insanity is a perfectly normal responce to an abnormal world -R.D.Laing.- |
