To Those of You with Aching Hearts I come to this forum to read the lovely poems and want to sit and talk to each broken hearted one I want to tell you that life is not a piece of cake sometimes we make wrong decisions in choosing our mates Love is a mystery an elusive thing to grasp we think we are in love and yet somehow it doesn't last At first it's a heady attraction for most of us it seems and sometimes love grows between two hostile human beings It is just a mirror a reflection and a moment in time If it were the true love you were looking for in life then it is time to hear some motherly advice Love is not something we can put our finger on It doesn't always follow a path when all is said and done But, when the person you have given your heart has stepped on it hard 'til you think it will fall apart Remember, around the corner is a love that is truly for the best and each time our hearts break asunder it is just life's test For when it is truly true love from the very start Your heart will never break until death do you part Sometimes, we love too hard and hope that it is the one but after the passion, soon our clay feet start to showin' Life demands compromises when push comes to shove and if those didn't work out then it wasn't true love So though I will champion you, taking your side I know that soon hope will again be in your eyes netswan |

Yes, agreed...sage advice from a sensitive soul... Wonderful words here, Netswan. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

I was thrilled by the comments and hoping y'all didn't think I was hard hearted hannah. --) thanks to you all, am truly trying to help. I raised four siblings and three sons of my own and still can hear their broken hearted sobs echoing in my ears. and see that each one of them have found true love in spite of the pain their poor hearts sobbed upon. Hugs to you all, and thank you. netswan |
