On Keeping On His flailing pads atop the powered fluff the Snowshoe, startled by a wolverine, made headway pounding up the covered rise, his laboring enemy, would sink enough each lunge, that only nose tip could be seen, yet he pursued, persistence its own prize. Soon out of sight, across the shoulder's flank the giant hare had safely won his race. Territorial, fearful to expand its size, retracing steps, he founded the food chain bank.
