Thoughts of my mind ~First Knight~ Deaf.... from the words that you've shared. So now I sit and listen to the symphony of silence, With a loss for words. Thoughts.... have run their course, Cutting in the path ways to my heart, As you become the etchings on my soul. Belonging.... Yes my heart is, and always has been yours, as long as you should so desire. Time.... What does it matter? Fifteen years or fifteen minutes? With you time stands still, except when you are not with me. Memories.... More than I could say, And more than I deserve of you, But I will not scoff at my blessings in this. Desires.... Hardly the right word, for with you they seem more like needs. And my desire is to continue to need. Missing.... Yes missing is the self, The self that was found in you. For when you are not here...Nor am I A man does not love a woman because she is beautiful...But she is beautiful because he loves her. |

~Holy cow,...I love this. I'm not usually in this room and this is actually the first of your poems I've read. Wonderful expression. "For when you are not here,...Nor am I"...wow,..that's powerful. I'll be back for more of your work for sure.  |
