Quietly waiting I sit and clown around As I wait to be found The pain I feel Only time will heal As I wait to be found Tears run down A shiver deep with in As I wait to be found Smiles and laughter Looking as if nothing is wrong As I wait to be found Here I am Can't you see As I wait to be found Still lost and alone As I wait to be found |

It must be only to others you're lost to. Certainly not to yourself? If you don't find yourself, how will others do it? Thoughtful work here. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

--Dolphins *wow* this was a powerfully written work of art. i am still mulling over it. i loved the repetition of the verse "as i wait to be found". the words of this poem i related to very well. i think that at one time or another we all feel sorta lost and are just clinging onto hope that...something or someone will find us and we can go back to being our former self? just a thought i had. take care, amy ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |

Thank you very much Amy . I appericated you reply. Yes you are right about your analogy of this piece. I believe we all feel this way sometimes. |
