*Another one of my translations of A. Pushkin. The final flowers are more dear Than charming maidens in the field And the dejected aspirations They reawake in us with life Thus sometimes separation’s strife Is livelier than love’s occasions |

This Pushkin guy in Russia is regarded as an equal to Shakespeare. He definitely has his share of wisdom! If you really want to be amazed, buy "Eugene Onegin." But before you buy it, read through it some of it, there are different translations and some may be better than others. I trully recommend it to you. I've read it in Russian and I was simply stunned! |
