I'm Sorry I'm sorry for the strength I have failed to gain, I'm sorry for the hurt and the pain. I'm sorry for all of the time that has passed, I'm sorry I could not make it last. I'm sorry I am not who who want me to be, I'm sorry I could not make you see. I'm sorry for all you do not understand, I'm sorry i couldn't meet every demand. I'm sorry for not having the strength, I'm sorry for not going to any length. I'm sorry I could not see what could be, I'm sorry I can't set myself free. I'm sorry for all of my actions, I'm sorry I let in all of the distractions. I'm sorry it all had to be this way, I'm sorry that sorry is all I know how to say. |

Welcome to Passions. No reason to be sorry if you have done all you can do. All my love, Jeffrey I lie awake in a world filled with dreams, but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep |

Nice work here. Welcome to the family. I'll look forward to seeing more of your poems. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

Deborah, Welcome to Passions.... Its a sorry tale indeed to feel Sorry for all that one has done, Its a pitiful case indeed to kneel, Asking forgiveness, after doing all that could be done... There is a limit to what a person can do, no need to be sorry for not being able to do everything. Others will have expectations, but one's aim should only be to come up as much as is possible. Strive hard, and be happy is the feeling of trying as much as humanly possible.... Hope that you get out of the 'I'm sorry' phase soon, there are many good things in life, and I hope you enjoy it out here... BTW, A nice work, all the same (Such an idiot, I did not say this earlier) Warm regards, Sudhir In any moment of decision, The best thing you can do is the right thing, The next-best thing is the wrong thing, And the worst thing you can do is nothing. - Theodore Roosevelt |

Welcome Deborahlee! This is a wonderful poem with much heartfelt regrets. "Sorry" is a powerful way to cleanse ourselves of the past, when there is nothing more we can do. You've captured this beautifully. Best wishes for renewed happiness, /Kit |

I think that these are wonderful, emotional, very intense words. It's easy to see they come straight from your heart, and I think we all can relate. And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance - I hope you dance. song by LeeAnn Womack ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

As I wipe a tear from my lash These 3 simple words ~I am sorry~ in this one you've shared you have brought a dimension of honesty and emotion from a genuine heart. Great expression here! CocoBaci |

--Deborah First of all...welcome to Passions . Secondly this was a simple yet beautiful expression of pure honesty. it is apparent that these words came from deep within, and it truly touched me. i agree with the others...when you have tried as hard as you could and done all that you can say...then you can do no more. and perhaps by saying i'm sorry...you have acknowledged that? at any rate...beautiful work you have done here. take care and best regards, amy ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |
