What A Tear Could Be Worth I feel tears they flow freely. Upon tender cheek they reside. The taste salty as the mirthful sea, there wetness silky smooth as precious oil. This phenomenon comes with a twist, it can arrive with loving heart felt gleam, or faint out of fears quest, what ever the reason it has a profound affect upon the soul. God laid hands upon the soul of man and gave him the ability to shed a tear, and this visual happening provides the onlooker proof of acclamation weather gleeful or sorely perplexed. If we are auspicious in this realm of uncertainties called life, that are blessed in abundance with heart felt tears of joy, count your selves fervently fortunate. Remember God blessed man, but not all men get the chance to experience this blessing so profoundly abundant. By, Cerenity [This message has been edited by Cerenity-1 (edited 05-07-2000).] |

"not all men get the chance to experience this blessing so profoundly abundance". It has been awhile since I last shed a tear but there have been moments when I have come close, one of my closest friends moved to Australia 8 months ago, I think about her everyday day and each time I feel like sheding tears but also smiling remembering the good times. Yes a tear is worth a lot. Your poem reminded me of my friend. A beautiful piece of poetry, you have captured the nature and essences of tearing perfectly. |

Lovely poem for a lovely lady. I cry at the drop of a hat....happy, sad...makes no difference....my brother and sisters used to tease me without mercy! And I judge movies by the number of Kleenex I need to use.. ![]() |

In our tears, we reveal our hearts In their tiny pools, we mirror our feelings In those drops, we show our souls. . . Beautiful Cerenity-1. . . just wonderful. . . And like deVine, I cry at just about anything. . . including this. . . Excellent. . . ------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

This is a wonderful poem Cerenity. Our tears allow such release. It's always perplexed me how both great joy and desperate sadness can yield the same result. We are indeed fortunate and complex creatures. /Kit |

A tear that falls for another dilutes the sorrow of a heart ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Hi Brian, I wish sometimes that I didn't cry because then my anger would be more profound to the one I was angered by, thank you for your kind reply. Hi Miss Poet deVine, Gilr friend you too ha, yes but we keep the kleenex company going, and I think they are in coehoots with the film makers anyway. Hi Sven, Your so sweet, my soul is smiling at you my friend, thank you for your lovely reply. Hi Kit, Yes but tears of joy are almost always followed by a smile, but you are right we are so complex, thank you. Hi Marge, You have released this heart from much weight, and whats so wonderful is that you are just being you (a loving friend) Thank you so much. Love, Cerenity [This message has been edited by Cerenity-1 (edited 05-07-2000).] |

I can relate to this poem...tears come easily for me happy and sad. This is a wonderful poem, I look forward to reading more of your work!! ~Kellsue ![]() Reflect upon your present blessings-of which every man has many-not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some. ~Charles Dickens We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. ~Winston Churchill |

I must say THIS MAN has experienced "blessing?" or CURSE very abundantly. Great poem though. All my love, Jeffrey I lie awake in a world filled with dreams, but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep |
