A fireflies wink Of the theme, I was not certain. Shadows danced the light of the moon. A figure bowed a spread curtain. The wind played to an ageless tune. Very aware of my nocturne, She reached her hand and plucked a rose. Then pirouette a graceful turn And tossed it me, in presuppose. I caught the rose and blew a kiss. It darted from the heart of me. She leaped in air, it did not miss. And thus began the fantasy. Drawn in gaze I cavort in daze, I frolicked like an alcoholic. The polonaise set me ablaze, The vampire kiss made me colic. And idiocies ecstasy, Conceded me a mirage key. |
