You put me at ease with my soul You complete me and make me feel whole You can read me like a book You've shown me love and helped me take a look You've shown me your tender, gentle heart I hold it close and always have from the start You've given me more love than I've ever known You've planted the seed and I hope it continues to grow Together let us always be song of my life Let us protect each other from our life's strife I am your fate, you are my destiny Friends first, lovers always we were meant to be ---------------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

~SVEN~ Now this is beautiful! You are a rare talent, this is a gem, it is such a heartfelt, romantic, and wise poem. The line "I am your fate, you are my destiny, friends first, lovers always, we were meant to be" is a perfect ending; it's true a man and a woman should be friends first for their relationships to last always.
