To night I feel a presence
One which I can not see
One which I can not hear
But I can feel her
Even though shes still alive
I feel her with me
I do not know why
I feel at ease
I feel as if I am safe tonight
Safe from all harm
I can feel her arms around me telling me
Don't be afraid
Don't be afraid to show her how you feel
You know what you must say
Say you hope she never gose away
That she will stay

Tonight an angel lay beside me

This poem is for all whom is afraid to say how they feel for fear of loseing someone close to them.

I am struggling with those fears...I have come a long way. I was able to tell my friend Lena that she is the most beautiful woman in Hawaii....and then tell her all the things I like about her. James

This was so pretty hon. I really liked the theme and meaning behind this. i have never read your work before, but am glad i read this piece. you have a talent my friend...and the "angel beside you" is one lucky gal. best wishes and take care.

Only the body dies, the soul lives on in the hearts of friends . A great poem very touching and remorsfuly written, remember when you lose someone close to you as long as you still think of them they will always live on .

what a touching poem...i am struggling with such a fear....it is a hard thing to deal with, but i think he knows anyway...may poetry always be there to be written...for our sake

Wow Justin, I had forgotten how good you can write. You're alot better then me, I love the way you worded this piece. I think it's awesome. I noticed you haven't posted in a very long time...maybe you should put some new stuff up, I'd love to read more of your work.
