Never Alone  Every time I look Deep into your eyes I see the pain you carry And I hear your sorrowful sighs. I feel the emptiness Within your longing heart From the loss you sustained When your love did depart. I hear the hollowness Every time you speak, And I know that every day Under your burden you grow weak. But when your heart grows heavy And your spirit must take a stand Remember me and know That I offer you my hand. And every time you feel Your burden is too great to bear Just call out my name And your burden I will share. When darkness seeps into your soul And threatens to turn your heart to stone Just think upon our friendship and Remember, you will never be alone. This poem is written in dedication to my very best friend Rick. I know how much he has been through in such a short time, and I want him to know that no matter how bad things seem to get, he always has a friend that he can turn to. ~you reached inside, you touched my heart, and I am all the better for it~ Terry A. It is always a comfort to have a friend there to catch us if we fall... "Just think upon our friendship and Remember, you will never be alone" Words written straight from the heart, there is nothing better than that.
