Liquid evil slides, drips and glids on the wall oozing from all corners, cracks & crevices. It shapes a snake of demonic proportions slowely seething towards my unwanting ear. It enters. Little by little bit by bit. violently invading and destroying my perfect little dream web. Conquering each tassle of joy until suddenly all... motion stops. The slithering creature succumbs and surrenders. But Why? No visible side opposes the threat. My web is gone. Diminished into forboding darkness the snake coils wrestlessley. The fighting has ceased. What silent savior spared my precious dreams? From within the coils a radiant spider appears from nothing more than pure rain, wrapping his wondrous silk golden light covering all time trapping easily this pathetic intruder. The war ended hastily. My wonderland survived and peace of mind shall reign. [This message has been edited by Boovoltz (edited 05-04-2000).] |

I have to be honest. I stopped reading at the word "spider" *SHUDDERS* Since I have a terrible fear of them, I don't even want to think about them. The part of the poem before that was great. Sorry I couldn't finish the rest. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |
