When my prayers are early said Who tucked me in my little bed And spanked my butt 'till it was red, My Mother Who lifted me from my cozy cot And sat me on an icy-cold pot And made me pee if I could or not, My Mother And when the morning light had come In my little crib I sucked my thumb Who wiped my tiny mouth some, My Mother Who did my hair so neatly part And press me gently to her heart, And sometimes squeeze me 'till I fart, My Mother Who looked at me with eyebrows down And gave me a really bad frown When in my Sunday pants was something brown, My Mother When at night the bed did squeak And I raised my head to take a peek Who yelled at me to go to sleep, My Mother |

Cutie, This is a very cute poem. You made me laugh for the first time today! Thank you! ~you reached inside, you touched my heart, and I am all the better for it~ Terry A. Woodson, Jr. |
